Sunrise Game Drive Witness the bush awakening

There’s a moment in the bush when the world feels brand new—when the sky softens from deep indigo to warm gold, and the bush starts to wake up like it’s been holding its breath all night. Our sunrise game drives are built around that magic. You’ll roll out early from handpicked safari accommodation, wrapped in the crisp morning air, listening for the first calls of birds and the distant, low rumble of something big moving through the trees. This is prime time for the Big 5lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—especially as predators finish their nighttime roam and herds drift toward waterholes for a first drink. With a professional guide leading the way, you’ll track fresh prints in the sand, scan the horizon for movement, and feel the thrill of finding life before the day gets busy. It’s not just a drive—it’s a sunrise expedition into the heart of wild South Africa, where every bend in the road could reveal a once-in-a-lifetime sighting.

Sunset Game Drive Wild Encounters

As the African heat begins to loosen its grip, the bush changes mood—shadows stretch, colours deepen, and the land glows like it’s lit from within. Our sunset game drives are an adventure made for that golden hour when animals begin to stir again after hiding from the midday blaze. Leaving from our safari accommodation, you’ll head out with a seasoned guide who reads the bush like a storybook—following alarm calls, watching for subtle movement in the grass, and finding the quiet signs that something extraordinary is close. This is when elephants gather at waterholes, buffalo form dark, powerful silhouettes in the fading light, and lions start to shift into hunting mode. The sunset drive feels cinematic—dust in the air, the sky turning amber and crimson, and the sense that the wilderness is preparing for the night ahead. It’s the perfect escape: thrilling, beautiful, and completely unforgettable.

Night Drive Hunters Paradise

When the sun drops behind the trees, the bush transforms. The daytime bush gives way to a different world—quiet, electric, and full of unseen movement. Our night drives are where the real mystery begins, guided by experienced professionals who know exactly how to explore the darkness safely and respectfully. As you move through the wild landscapes, you’ll sweep your spotlight across the road edges and thickets, catching the glint of eyes staring back—some curious, some calculating, all wild. This is when elusive creatures come alive: leopards stepping silently through the shadows, nocturnal hunters slipping between trees, and animals emerging to drink at waterholes under a sky scattered with stars. Even familiar sightings feel different at night—more intense, more primal, more alive. A night drive isn’t just a game drive after dark; it’s an after-hours pass into the secret life of the South African bush, where every sound makes your pulse rise and every sighting feels like a privileged discovery.

Bush Walk Expert Trackers

A bush walk is safari in its rawest form—no engine, no distance, just you, the earth under your boots, and the heartbeat of the wilderness all around you. Led by a professional guide trained to keep you safe while bringing the bush to life, this is an immersive adventure where you experience South Africa in a way that game drives simply can’t match. Every step becomes a lesson in survival and story: the smell of crushed wild herbs, the detail of tracks pressed into sand, the warning calls of birds overhead, and the sudden realisation that you’re walking through the same landscape as the Big 5. You may not always see the giants up close—and that’s part of the thrill—because on foot you start noticing everything: the camouflage of insects, the clever architecture of nests, the scratch marks on trees, and the spoors of animals that passed minutes before. It’s quieter, deeper, more personal—a true escape into the heart of the bush where the wilderness isn’t just something you watch… it’s something you feel.

Golf Palace of the Lost City

Set at Sun City in South Africa’s North West Province, the Lost City Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-72 Gary Player–designed layout that feels like a “desert-style” adventure through undulating, rocky terrain with big bushveld views. Wide fairways invite confident driving, but the course quickly asks for smart positioning as you navigate lakes and water features (about 28,000 m² across the property).

Golf Gary Player Country Club

At Sun City’s Gary Player Country Club in South Africa’s North West province, the Gary Player Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-72 championship layout designed by Gary Player and famed for hosting the annual Nedbank Golf Challenge.
