Package Pricing – Wild Impala reserves the right to change the package pricing from time to time. Packages that have been fully paid but the package start date is less than 30 days in the future, the pricing at the time of the final payment will be honoured. However, packages that have been fully paid at the time of a price increase and the package start date is more than 30 days and less than 60 days in the future, will be subject to an additional amount being added to the balance outstanding. For these instances, the additional increase will be divided equally between Wild Impala and the client. For other bookings where the package commencement date is more than 60 days in the future, whether partially or fully paid, unfortunately, the full increase amount will be add to the outstanding balance.
Reservations -Tour Package reservations aren’t classified as a firm booking, but an indication of a commitment to book. A Reservation Confirmation Email will be sent to each prospective client. A Reservation is valid for 14 days following which a firm booking should be made or the Reservation will be cancelled by Wild Impala with a formal Reservation Cancellation Email. Reservations require no deposit.
Confirmations – All confirmations of Enquiries, Reservations , Bookings and Payments will be done via Email.
Cancellations – Reservations may be cancelled by our client at anytime with no financial loss. However, if a firm booking is cancelled no refund will be made.
Refunds – No refunds will be possible. However, should Wild Impala be forced to cancel a Tour Package a refund less a 10% administration fee will be payable.
Payments
Deposits – All deposits , excluding the Wild Impala Safari Savings Club monies, are non-refundable. A deposit will be utilised by Wild Impala ,with their suppliers, to timeously reserve services on behalf of our client. Unfortunately that loss needs to be borne by the client, should a booking be cancelled by the client, due to unforeseen circumstances.
Full Payments – All payments made against firm bookings are non-refundable as Wild Impala will use this money with their suppliers and it isn’t recoverable.
Adhoc Payments – Adhoc payments, such as Wild Impala Safari Group Tour Savings Club, that don’t relate to a specific firm booking, are refundable less a 10% administration fee.
Accommodation
Safari Lodges – Wild Impala only selects luxury Safari Lodges on behalf of all clients, but there are differences between them as the majority are privately owned , each with a unique style and appearance. So whilst Wild Impala will try its utmost to secure similar high standard facilities for all clients it may differ from location to location. Also, Wild Impala is bound by the specific quantity & quality of meals & beverages at each Safari Lodge. However, we believe there is a lot of similarity from lodge to lodge, but should a Tour Group be split between more than one Safari Lodge the amenities will not be identical, but Wild Impala will try to avoid this split within one group as much as possible.
Hotels – Wild Impala only selects high standard hotels on behalf of all clients. Depending on availability, Wild Impala tries its best to make reservations at hotels within safe & secure complexes, where each client will have access to as wide a range of facilities as possible during their short stay. Hotel accommodation is kept to a minimum and only utilised for days & nights when non-Safari Lodge based activities are planned.
Transportation
Road – Wild Impala is responsible for organising suitable, comfortable, modern & safe vehicles for shuttle services between venues. Where available, domestic flight options are available as an upgrade, for each client who wish to minimise travelling time and maximise their stay at the booked venues.
Flights
International – Clients may prefer to book their own international flights as they have a specific airline preference or access to special flight deals from time to time. However, should all clients of a particular Tour Group, wish Wild Impala to arrange a complete package, only British Airlines flights will be booked, with a choice of economy or premium economy class and it is a pre-requisite that the whole Tour Group must either opt for organising all their own flights or leave it to us.
Domestic – Wild Impala is responsible for booking domestic flights on behalf of each client, with appropriate commercial airlines and from designated airports, namely OR Tambo International, Lanseria International, Cape Town International, King Shaka Zulu and Hoedspruit.
Chartered – Wild Impala is also able to arrange Chartered flights on behalf of each client, as an upgrade option, particularly where commercial flights are scarce or not available at all. Some of the larger Tour Groups may opt for this upgrade option to complete more memorable Safari adventure.
Certificates & Permits – Wild Impala is responsible for acquiring & maintaining all applicable registration, compliance certificates & permits.
Luggage – Wild Impala will provide a trailer to accommodate all clients luggage, should the transport available not have sufficient space.
Insurances
Public Liability – Wild Impala is responsible for being in possession of valid Public Liability insurance for all clients at the standard required cover level and according to industry acceptable norms.
Travel – Transportation arranged & provided by Wild Impala will have valid and up-to-date insurance cover
Medical – It is recommended that each client takes out their own Medical Insurance which is suitable for global cover , especially in South Africa, where medical costs are exceptionally high in the absence of adequate Government hospitals.
Taxes, Levies and fees –
Sales Tax – VAT registration is pending, but Wild Impala is responsible for
Airport Taxes & Levies – All flights arranged by Wild Impala will include any applicable airport taxes
Conservation Fees – All Game Drives and/or entries into Game Reserves, arranged through Wild Impala, will be paid by Wild Impala.
Venue Information
Game Reserves – All rules & regulations pertaining to either National or Private Game Reserves must be observed at all times. Indemnity forms will be required to be signed by each individual, or responsible parent and/or guardian in the case of a child, prior to entering a Game Reserve or participating on a Game Drive. It must be remembered that whilst some creatures appear to be cute, they are all wild and capable of unpredictable behaviour, bodily injury and in rare cases death.
Cricket Stadiums – Wild Impala is responsible for booking tickets, in the best available areas, for all relevant cricket matches applicable to a specific Group Package Tour. Depending on availability and specifically for larger Group Tours, Wild Impala will strive to book a box for use by all clients.
Golf Clubs – All rules & regulations pertaining to each Club must be observed & upheld at all times. Should rounds of golf be arranged by Wild Impala, they will include hire of a set of golf clubs, green fees, caddies fees, provision of golf carts and half-way refreshments.
Wine Estates – All rules & regulations pertaining to each Wine Estate must be observed & upheld at all times. All visits arranged through Wild Impala, as part of the Package Tour, the cost of wine tasting & any light refreshments will be borne by Wild Impala.
Health Spa’s – All rules & regulations pertaining to each establishment must be observed & upheld at all times. Costs of all sessions arranged through Wild Impala, as part of the Package Tour, will be for Wild Impala’s account.
Hotels – Wild Impala is responsible for booking suitable Hotel accommodation, should it be required as part of the Package Tour. However, Wild Impala isn’t responsible for any incidents or unfortunate circumstances arising from any of the clients staying at the Hotel and/or enjoying its facilities & amenities.
Other – It may be necessary for Wild Impala to arrange unplanned venues, should circumstances dictate during the Package Tour. Wild Impala will strive to accommodate any clients who need unscheduled activities arranged during their stay.
Disclaimers
Weather Conditions – Wild Impala will not be held responsible for any cancelled events due to inclement weather. Should certain activities be cancelled outside of Wild Impala’s control, attempts will be made to arrange alternative activities that aren’t impacted by the weather.
Transport Issues – Should flights be delayed or cancelled or road transport affected by breakdowns or unforeseen delays, Wild Impala will not be held accountable and should additional costs be incurred for flights specifically, they will be borne proportionately by each client. Any additional road transport costs will be borne by Wild Impala.
Accidents, Personal Injury, Allergies & Ill-health – Wild Impala will not be held accountable for any client allergies or ill-health situations that interfere with any clients enjoyment of their stay with us. Also, any accidents and/or personal injuries should be covered by each client’s Medical Insurance Cover. No claims whatsoever can be layed against Wild Impala for an individual’s accident or personal injury.
Damaged and/or Lost Items – Whilst Wild Impala advises all clients to be careful & vigilant during their stay with us, any damage to personal belongings or any loss or theft of personal items, will not be recoverable from Wild Impala. Each client is responsible for arranging their own relevant insurance cover, especially for expensive items such as cameras, cell phones, jewelry or other personal property.
